With the Walrus Audio Jupiter V2, you can quell your hunger for fat and hairy fuzz once and for all! This American-made effect pedal features a special Mode switch and offers three different types of diode clipping, as well as a bass boost toggle for an even juicer low-end and an improved tone control for increased control over the higher frequencies. Compared to the V1, the Jupiter V2 also boasts a few extra stacks of gain.

Wat een waanzinnige fuzz! Niet de makkelijkste om te controleren, maar wát een geluid! Ik was een tijd op zoek naar een fuzz maar wilde niet gewoon "een standaard" fuzz. Die heb ik gevonden in deze fuzz van Walrus Audio! Superdikke sound, niet echt subtiel te noemen, maar als je deze fuzz overweegt, ben je daar ook niet naar op zoek. Dit is echt een knaller!
Met de mode-schakelaar kun je de fuzz temmen, maar let op: er zit een behoorlijk volume-verschil tussen de verschillende standen!
De kwaliteit is uitstekend, de verpakking is mooi gedaan en het is gewoon een tof pedaal om te zien. Het is een totaalplaatje, dat voor mij helemaal klopt. Ik ben hier heel blij mee!
Tot nog toe altijd een Big Muff Pi gebruikt als fuzz achtig pedaal, maar ik miste toch iets qua sound. Dat blijkt deze Walrus Audio Jupiter precies te hebben. Een lekker wollige en dikke fuzz sound die ook heel fijn aan te passen is. Subtiel gekraak, lage frequenties, hoge frequenties, knetterend lawaai, allemaal binnen handbereik van één pedaal. Ik ben er blij mee.

The description of this fuzz is very accurate, it is thick and nasty! I am really picky with fuzz pedals and I love this one. It is in the Big muff ballpark but it deffo not just a clone. I really recommend this pedal.
